Christopher Dennis Coleman is a classically-trained cellist, composer, producer, sound designer, and session musician residing in the Cascade mountains near Seattle, WA. Drawing inspiration from the dark beauty of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a profound well of personal experience with love and loss, Christopher’s work is characterized by deep emotional resonance and beautiful, visceral textures reflective of the outer and inner environments of the human experience.

While prominently featuring the versatility and emotional range of the cello, Christopher also frequently incorporates piano, synthesizer, woodwinds, and more esoteric instruments, blurring traditional lines between such genres as Classical, Minimalist, Experimental, Ambient, and Indie. A growing list of collaborators includes Tony Anderson, Benjamin Gustafsson, 24th and Haven, and more.
